Nope, that’s not a typo. The Chocolate Potato Chip Cake is HERE!

This cake has been a long-awaited project as I tried to figure out exactly how I wanted to incorporate the saltiness and crunch of the potato chips in a “cake” way.

Starting off with my no-fail, always delicious dark chocolate cake layers, I added some:

• baked potato chips roasted in brown sugar

• whipped peanut butter filling

• chocolate buttercream

The combination of the peanut butter filling and the crunch from the potato chips is straight-up DREAMY.

I also experimented a bit with this cake and found that the potato chips still had their crunch even after freezing - talk about a win!
