I made this announcement a few weeks ago on social media, and I’m posting the official announcement here for the first time today.

Beginning March 1, 2023, Homemade by Celena will officially rebrand as Celena Grant Cake Company and will become an exclusive wedding cake provider.

When I published my site roughly 365 days ago, I was overwhelmed with support - orders, messages, and just the niceness of those around me. With that support came growth in an industry that I absolutely adore - weddings. After prayerful consideration and consultation with those closest to me, the decision to bring Celena Grant Cake Company to life was made.

What exactly does this mean?

I’m glad you asked! The following bullet points should cover all the bases:

• Wedding cake baking and decorating (including groom’s cakes) will become my primary form of service

• Wedding cake services will expand greatly, including in-person design consultations, digital sketching, and exclusive taste testings.

• Party cake orders (birthday cakes, retirement cakes, anniversary cakes, etc.) will only be accepted during scheduled off season periods (January - March, July - September) with extremely limited availability. Announcements will be made via email (make sure you’re subscribed!) and social media regarding the off season schedule to ensure you all are aware of my openings.

My goal in rebranding is to not only become an exclusive wedding cake provider, but to become the best wedding cake provider in the Northwest Alabama region. Freeing up the time to allot more attention to my wedding customers is the key in meeting that goal.

I’m eager to niche down and hone my skills for untraditional, highly customized wedding cakes all while making more time for my family as my little girl grows.
