FAQs

  • Celena Grant Cake Company is not a high-volume bakery and we pride ourselves in custom, thoughtful cake design. We suggest booking at least six (6) months in advance for wedding cakes and at least three (3) months in advance for event cakes, but this does not always guarantee availability. All orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Sure can! Each cake is designed to meet the specific needs and wants of the client. The price of the cake is determined by factors such as the number of servings, design complexity, and delivery location. After an initial design consultation, you will be provided with a custom quote.

  • Nope! Celena Grant Cake Company is an artisan cakery, meaning we specialize in buttercream cakes only. If you need additional desserts to compliment your event cake, we are happy to provide recommendations to other fabulous and trusted local vendors.

  • Since Celena Grant Cake Company is not a commercial storefront (yet), consultations are done virtually via email and start with the completed inquiry form above. Cake tastings are available upon request (on the last weekend of each month) and are pick-up only. Cake tasting boxes are $45/box and include five (5) different cake flavors of my choosing. Additional flavor combinations can be added for an additional fee.

  • Celena Grant Cake Company does not have a dedicated allergen-free kitchen and for your safety, we recommend that you contact a bakery with a dedicated nut or allergen-free facility for your cake needs.

  • Event dates are secured with a non-refundable booking fee (half of the order total) and with a signed contract. On the rare occasion that a cake is booked within one month of the event date, the order total must be paid in full at the time that the order is placed and is subject to a rush fee.

    Final payments are due the week before the event and will include any additional details added to the cake since the time of the booking fee. You will be provided with a payment receipt upon both your deposit and final payment.

  • If you have an event date and know you’ll be needing a cake, but you’re not quite ready to proceed with booking, you can secure your date with a retainer. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. All details must be finalized at least 90 days before your event date.

  • Celena Grant Cake Company accepts Venmo, PayPal, Square, or cash payments. No personal checks are accepted and cash payments must be arranged before the event date is considered secured.

  • Due to the nature of our business, decorative elements for your cake are often created well in advance. For this reason, if you cancel your order, the booking fee cannot be refunded or transferred to another order. If you cancel your order after you have made your final payment, we reserve the right to determine if a refund is warranted.
