24 Karat Magic

Wedding Season Has Arrived

Rom-coms are my favorite movie genre (How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days is my number one), Valentine’s Day may very well be my second favorite holiday, and weddings give me such a renewed perspective on everything in my life - from my own marriage to my Christianity and how much our Father loves us.

Now that we’re in full swing of wedding season, I’m reminded of just how much I love love!

Ashton and Thomas

Ashton and Thomas were recently married at the oh-so-charming Witt House in Priceville, Alabama. (Fun fact: Ashton and I played golf together numerous times during high school!).

The couple requested an elegant, minimalist inspired ivory and gold-trimmed cake adorned with monochrome roses, ranunculus, and peonies to match Ashton’s bouquet.

This three-tiered almond wedding cake has deckled (raised) edges that are hand-painted with 24 karat gold luster dust - can you say elegant?!

The day was perfect - the weather, the venue, the food. All of it was stunning and I am again reminded of how blessed I am to get to be part of such a special day.

Enjoy!
