A Cake Fit for a Princess

Disney fans, this one’s for you!

I made this Princess cake for a very special birthday party celebrating the big “4” this weekend.

Most 4-year-olds aren’t too big on dark chocolate, but not this one! The birthday girl was very adamant about having a rich, dark chocolate cake - a girl after my own heart!

This tiered cake is comprised of chocolate cake layers, vanilla buttercream, buttercream seashells, custom cake toppers, and of course - Disney Princesses!

The top tier is a six-inches which I offset to allow for more room for the details on the front of the cake. This technique made stacking the cakes a bit trickier, but the outcome was definitely worth it.
