Over the Moon Cake
Second to weddings, baby showers are my favorite celebration.
So when I was asked to make this two-tier cake for a gender reveal party, I was quite literally over the moon (read in a Rob Lowe voice).
This cake is comprised of an 8” tier and 6” tier, wrapped in pastel pink and blue buttercream. For some cake jewelry, we went with a gold acrylic moon and stars and buttercream clouds.
Underneath all of the glam sit equally pretty vanilla cake layers stacked together with almond buttercream.
