Botanical Benevolence

Summertime wedding cake design is in full swing and I wanted to develop a cake that encompassed all of the 2023 wedding cake trends that I’ve come to love thus far:

• Varying shapes and micro tiers

• Alternating flavors and colors

• Height

• Airy florals

“Botanical Benevolence” comes in at a staggering five tiers and features a beautiful color palette of blush tones, orange, red, and white. has done a wonderful job at taking my ideas and bringing them to life.

To give the cake a solid foundation, the bottom tier is square, while the remaining four tiers are round and alternate between white and blush buttercream.

Also featured is a mix of fresh and silk flowers - a practice I highly recommend to couples who wish to use flowers that may not be in season for their wedding day. The florals really take this cake to the next level and are sure to bring a fun, playful vibe to any wedding reception.

I absolutely adore how light and airy this cake is and I think it may be one of my favorite designs of all time!
