Something Borrowed, Something Blue

This past weekend held some beautiful weather in North Alabama - and a beautiful wedding to go along with it.

This two-tiered cake was inspired by one of my first designs, so it was a bit nostalgic to revisit it.

Strawberry and lemon cake layers wrapped in a silky smooth vanilla buttercream, with just a hint of blue and gold - a flavor combo sure to win over all guests at a wedding reception.

Florals included fresh ranunculus and touches of white hydrangea petals.
