Noir

Appropriately named “Noir”, this three-tiered beauty was born out of my passion for truly breathtaking wedding cake design.

An untraditional shape, with perhaps an even more unconventional color, sleek lines, and modern touches.

“Noir” presented the perfect opportunity to brush up on my sugar-flower work as well. A large handmade rose takes the stage front and center, while the white fondant frames bring a touch of modernism.

The black buttercream is not only beautiful but tastes even better, as it is made out of black cocoa powder which resembles the taste of Oreos (truly, a win for everyone!).

Some finishing touches include dried ruscus stems and white spear palms.
